Release 2026.03
March 31, 2026
This release is all about greater control over financial processes, better visibility of changes to projects and tasks, and further technical stabilization of the platform. Work has been done primarily on functionalities that make daily use more reliable and efficient, such as more comprehensive rate settings, improved notifications, and instantly visible status and history updates. In addition, several bugs have been fixed in overviews, notifications and security. Finally, new investments have been made in maintenance and technical improvements to the infrastructure and back-end.
What’s in the release
Registering hourly rates at the Company level
It is now possible to record hourly rates by category at the organization and relationship level, including effective date and historical rates. Relationships inherit the organization’s rates by default, but can deviate from them when customer agreements call for it. For activities and invoice lines, the correct rate is automatically determined based on the registration date. This makes billing more flexible, accurate and better suited to customer-specific agreements.
Optimize statuses projects and tasks
Processing of project and task statuses has been technically improved, making changes immediately visible without manually refreshing the page. Also, overviews of projects and tasks are immediately updated when a status changes. In addition, status changes are correctly added to the communication feed. This makes the user interface more up-to-date and reliable.
Making history of Projects visible in the communication feed
Changes to project properties are now visible in the communication feed when filtered by history. Users can see which property was modified, when it was modified and by whom. The information is displayed chronologically and is limited to the selected project. This increases transparency and makes changes more traceable.
Setting up daily summary in addition to direct mail notifications
Contacts can now choose between direct e-mail or inclusion in a daily summary for each project or task notification. A time can also be set when this summary email is sent. This allows users to better tailor their notification preferences to their own workday and reduces email overload. Employees with appropriate permissions can also manage these settings for contacts.
Be able to download multiple draft invoices simultaneously via multiselect as an employee
Employees can now select and download multiple draft invoices at once. This speeds up invoice processing and reduces manual repetition in the invoicing process. Especially with larger numbers of concept invoices, this results in clear time savings.
Resolved bugs
Many unnecessary events kicked off when changing a company’s field
When changing a field in a farm, an unnecessary number of events were generated. This behavior has been reduced by handling default values smarter in the denormalizer. This creates fewer unnecessary mutations in the background. This makes processing more efficient and helps reduce unwanted side effects.
Last modified shows incorrect date in project overview
The Last modified field in the project view did not show the actual last modification date of a project. This has been corrected so that the correct time of the most recent change is now displayed. This gives users a more reliable view of current project activity.
Miscellaneous bugs task overview
Several problems in the task view have been fixed, including incorrect filter results by contact and project. Search behavior in the autocomplete has also been improved so that more relevant results are displayed. This makes finding and filtering tasks more accurate and user-friendly.
Activity date is not updated when changing time-entry date
When synchronization with the activity date was active, this date was not always adjusted when changing the time-entry date. This has been fixed so that both values are again correctly kept the same when expected. This makes the stored activity more consistent with the actual recording.
Wrongful notification on own response to ticket
Users sometimes received a notification about their own response to a ticket. This has been fixed so that self-notifications are no longer sent. Other affected users do continue to receive notifications according to the existing notification rules. This avoids confusing and unnecessary notifications.
InvoiceLines overview falls partially out of view
The InvoiceLines view could fall out of view with certain content or screen widths, making information not easily usable. The view has been adjusted so that the overview remains more visible within the available page width. This makes the table more stable and easier to read on common desktop resolutions.
Bypassing MFA via other browser
A security issue has been fixed where multi-factor authentication could be bypassed via a different browser. With this correction, MFA is more consistently enforced during the login process. This strengthens the security of user accounts.
Maintenance
Monthly server updates – Vari
The monthly server updates have been performed. This has included updating components such as .NET, RabbitMQ, Erlang and Elasticsearch. This contributes to a stable, secure and well-supported test environment.
Monthly Back-end & Front-end updates
The regular monthly updates to back-end and front-end are included in this release. This keeps the application technically up-to-date and keeps dependencies and components up to date. This supports stability and future development.
Various technical improvements
Several technical improvements have been made in search mappings, denormalizers and event processing. Preparations have also been made to further reduce unnecessary events and resolve known inconsistencies more structurally. In addition, minor bugs in the ticket module have been addressed. This strengthens the technical foundation of Maki and makes future changes more manageable.
