The main focus in this release is on bug fixes and stability. We have fixed several issues around search, customer portal navigation and UI details, with extra attention to situations where contacts are linked to multiple companies. In addition, maintenance updates were performed on the server environments and several technical improvements were made to the Exact connection. Few new features were added, as we are working on larger developments in the background.

What’s in the release?

Searching for special characters in search fields

Search fields now accept special characters such as &, @, #, + and % in both the general search window and in summary search fields. As a result, you will also find results whose names or contents contain punctuation. This ensures more complete and accurate search results, especially for product names, tags and combinations with symbols.

Setting up automatic relationship numbering

Tenant Admins can now configure relationship numbering through Settings/Relations with a prefix, starting number and total length. New relationships automatically receive a unique relationship number that is supplemented with zeros to meet the set length. This increases recognition and consistency in relationship management, and prevents duplicate numbering.

Being able to download multiple invoices at once via multiselect

In the invoice view, you can select multiple invoices with check boxes and download them all at once. Once you select one or more invoices, a download button appears, retrieving all selected invoices as PDFs. This saves time in batch processing and also works in conjunction with filters.

Activity date by default the same as time-entry date and different date to be set with checkbox in communication feed

In the communication feed the behavior has been changed so that the activity date is equal to the time-entry date by default. A different date/time could already be set, but to keep the screen uncluttered, this field is now only visible when the checkbox is unchecked. This keeps the default flow simple, while still allowing you to flexibly set a deviating activity date when needed.

Extend logging Exact

Logging has been extended more broadly to other Exact functions. In addition, the use of cancellationToken has been made more consistent throughout the chain, and using constructs have been added in request and send handling. This makes troubleshooting easier and increases robustness for timeouts/aborted requests.

Exact link-include specification in invoices / Remove unnecessary code in invoicescontroller

The invoice integration with Exact has been cleaned up and extended: the link to the specification is always visible and “include specification” behavior works correctly again. At the same time, redundant code in the invoices controller has been removed, simplifying maintenance and reducing the risk of errors.

Resolved bugs

Improved search functionality on single words

Searching by single words in titles has been improved so that you get results based on one or more words regardless of the order. This allows you to find tickets, for example, even when you only know parts of the title. This saves time and reduces frustration when finding items in larger environments.

Tasks and projects overview does not work when a contact is in 2 companies

An issue has been addressed where the task and project view was not working properly when a contact is associated with multiple companies. This allows customers with multiple company relationships to navigate projects and tasks consistently again. This prevents “blank” overviews and improves the reliability of the customer portal.

Ticket does not load when contact is added to multiple companies

Tickets were not loading in some situations when a contact was linked to multiple companies. This has been fixed, allowing tickets to open normally again and preventing the customer from getting stuck in the portal. This improves usage especially for holdings/concerns with shared contacts.

SharePoint button on relation card no longer visible

The SharePoint button on the relation card had disappeared and has been brought back. This restores direct access to the SharePoint link from the relation, as users were used to. This restores quick access to document locations.

Pagination no longer visible/working on contact card in tickets and tasks

The pagination on the contact card for tickets and tasks was no longer visible or not working properly. This has been fixed so that lists are again neatly browsable. As a result, the contact card remains usable with larger numbers of linked items.

Profile photo is not properly cropped and creates a white border

When uploading and displaying avatars, a white border was appearing due to incorrect cropping. This has been fixed so that profile pictures are again displayed tightly and consistently in views (such as tickets). This gives a neater UI.

Maintenance

Monthly server updates

The standard monthly server maintenance tasks have been updated, including updates for .NET, Rabbit/Erlang and Elasticsearch. This keeps the underlying infrastructure up-to-date and reduces the likelihood of security and compatibility issues.

Monthly Back-end & Front-end updates

Periodic updates for back-end and front-end are included to keep dependencies and components current. This helps keep performance and stability up to par and prevents overdue maintenance.
